A gather of clear molten glass is fused with virgin white powder before applying a layer of transparent jade chips. A gather of clear casing glass is applied, sheared and twisted creating the central design element. More casing glass is applied, furnace heated and pulled stretching the interior elements into a translucent watery vortex. Whirlpools can be very strong, like the ones below Niagara Falls, producing a downdraft called a vortex. 3" W x 6.5" H
