Needs no refrigeration, convenient and portable. Primary usage for outdoor activity injuries and first aid. Instructions: locate inner pouch, squeeze firmly to rupture inner fluid pouch. Shake briefly to mix content. Wrap in soft cloth and apply. Best if activated between 32 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The cold pack temperature drops to 5 Celsius degree within 45 seconds after activation. Cooling time lasts for more than 30 minutes. Complies with CE, FDA, PPE DIR 89/866/EEC. 5" L x 6" W
